Suzuko (left) and Hanako (right) ran a half marathon on January 14th in Houston and are now mentoring for our Team In Training chapters in New Mexico and Houston.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) makes sure that at least 75% of every dollar donated goes to patient services, research or advocacy. Research done by the Society has helped advance medicine not only for blood cancers, but also for cancer in general. Research funded by the Society helped develop chemotherapy, as well as other therapies and medicines that have helped save lives.
Money that is donated also goes to help out families while they are going through such a tough time. They give patients money to help defray costs - including parking and other incidentals.
